Help & FAQ
Yes, they are. We offer two pricing levels - one for Reserve Club Members who pay a low annual fee and receive the very lowest prices, special offers and early access; and another for Standard Members who can simply pay the slightly higher hotel rates which are still significantly cheaper than those elsewhere.
Absolutely. Most of our hotel rates should be lower than elsewhere, though there may be the odd exception. Unlike typical travel wholesalers such as Expedia, Booking etc and Tour Operators, we don’t mark-up hotel rates up to 20% as they typically do. Instead, we pass those savings on to you and the more you travel the more you’ll save.
If you travel frequently, we recommend joining the Reserve Club. This membership offers discounted rates throughout the year, which can be substantial for multi-trip travellers and even for higher room grades when compared to what you would have been prepared to pay for a lower room grade elsewhere.
However, if you only travel once a year or so, our Standard Membership prices might be more suitable. Nevertheless, it’s worth comparing them to Reserve Member prices, as becoming a member for a single trip could still be worthwhile and save you more money particularly if you are wanting a higher room or board grade.
You can use our rates whenever you like. Reserve Club Members can book hotel stays at any time during their annual membership for the very lowest rates. This means you’re not limited to travelling within that year. If the hotel is available outside your paid year you can still book it.
Anyone can book the Standard Member prices whenever they like since they aren’t subject to a membership period as the Reserve Club Membership is.
No we don't. The reason is that it's far cheaper for you to book flights directly with the airlines these days. The prices that you get from airlines are lower than the prices you will find with "package holidays" as these are marked up by the Tour Operator. In short book your flights with the airline and book the hotel with us and you will make huge savings. This also give you extra flexibility with Flight times, dates and airports.
Not yet. These are coming online very shortly and you will be able to separately book transfers between airports, ports, stations etc and hotels - again at our low rates. It is envisaged that these will be available in the coming weeks
Yes. When you pay for your booking the payment is passed automatically to the hotel, or the supplier, and your price is locked in. There are no unpleasant surprises down the line. You will also be provided with a re-confirmation status for your booking in the Members portal from the hotel within a few hours of your booking once we receive it from them.
Yes you can. The extent to which you can amend is governed by the hotel and their particulary policy for your booking (they do vary). Generally if a rate is flexible then date amendments and cancellations should be no problem provided you are not extremely close to check-in date - each booking is different so you can check that in the Members portal for your booking.
Non-refundable rates are more restrictive and generally do not allow any changes at all, so be sure before you book these and it is always best to have Travel Insurance to cover you in the eventuality that you need to cancel.
It is important to note that all hotels bookings are booked in the Lead Name (the person who registered the account) and you will not be able to change the Lead Name on any booking. It may be possible to change other names on the booking - but once again this is guided by the hotel policies on each booking.

ATOL means the Air Transport Organisers Licence and is the UK Civil Aviation scheme. We do not sell Flights, nor do we sell Package Holidays, so there is no requirement for us to be a member of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) trade body. However all payments made to Travelcube are processed immediately to the hotel or supplier for your financial protection - we don't hang on to customers money in any shape of form. Our customers also pay via Card so that gives an extra layer of financial protection, and we always recommend that customers have comprehensive Travel Insurance for any eventuality.
No we don't. We offer only Boutique and Luxury hotels that we feel fit the criteria for Travelcube. We are constantly updating our portfolio but we don't sell sub-standard hotels or those that are 'cheap and cheerful', but not actually very good quality, as there are plenty of places to book those. Our ethos is that we only offer hotels that we would be happy to stay in ourselves and it is important our customers feel that they have got real value for money for a quality stay. We are always open to hotel suggestions and if they fit our criteria we will happily add them for you. You can rest assured that the hotels we offer have been thoroughly vetted by us for you.
They most definitely are. All of our staff have a comprehensive travel background that covers all aspects of the travel trade. For example our owner started his career in the industry in 1988 at Thomson Holidays (now part of TUI), and progressed through business travel, and then one of the leading edge travel wholesalers Gold Medal (now part of Emirates owned Dnata) before running the travel agency Airfare Warehouse, the tour operator Tradewinds - and now Travelcube. Our other staff have followed a similar trajectory, albeit younger, so we have vast experience and understanding about what makes a great holiday and why the hotel plays such an important role.
