Amazing to visit Lumley once more and relive old memories. I was resident there in the sixties when it was student accommodation linked to Durham university. Thank you for making my 80th birthday so...
Parking was a problem on arrival - a daytime convention, the culprit, that didn't make our arrival easy! The hotel is an atmospheric old castle but with uneven stone flag paved ground floor corridors...
We had a lovely two night stay to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary as we were married here 13 years ago on March 18th. We stayed in the Thomas Lumley room in the Castle Mews which is a Sun trap...
